JOINTS

Joining Process

Our joints are made in the most efficient way possible.

Our fitters use high quality integra solvent and state of the art vacuum winches pictured here .

The joints are so strong that when we are finished, the stone itself will break before the joint does.

Bookmatch Joints

Bookmatch joints are created by using two slabs from the same block, placed together in a manner that creates a symmetrical pattern in the veins of the material.

This example is a marble shower wall. The bookmatch has created an image similar to the Rorschac test.

Veinmatch Joints

Veinmatch Joints are made from two pieces of the same material lined up together in a way that sees the veins within the stone flowing through the joints and into the next piece of stone.

This example from a kitchen showcases both a vein matched joint across the worktop, and vein matched upstands.
